What if my child is a little nervous about attending the camp?

It’s completely normal for some children to feel a bit nervous, especially if it’s their first time. Our experienced and friendly staff are trained to help children feel welcome, comfortable, and settled in quickly. We take a gentle, encouraging approach to support each child and help them build confidence throughout the day. If you’d like, our Camp Manager can contact you during the day to give you an update on how your child is getting on.

Will children be grouped by age?

Yes, absolutely. Each week, children are grouped with others of the same or similar age to ensure they feel comfortable, confident, and fully engaged in all activities. This approach helps children build friendships more easily and ensures that activities are appropriately tailored to their age and ability level. Our coaches carefully plan sessions to suit each age group's needs, making sure everyone has fun while developing new skills.

Can you accommodate children with additional needs?

Yes — we are committed to being as inclusive as possible and welcome all children to our camp. If your child requires additional support, we encourage you to get in touch with us via phone or email before booking. This allows us to understand their individual needs and determine how best we can support them within the camp environment.

While we are unable to provide additional staffing, if 1:1 support is required we are happy to welcome a child’s own carer onto camp, provided all necessary DBS checks are completed. We will always aim to ensure that your child can take part fully and enjoyably, while also maintaining a positive experience for the rest of the group.

What if my child has a medical condition?

If your child has a medical condition, please provide detailed information at the time of booking so we can ensure they receive the appropriate care while attending camp. You may be asked to complete an additional medical form, which will be sent to you along with your booking confirmation.

All relevant medical details shared during the booking process will be passed on to our camp staff ahead of your child’s first day.

Please note: we are only able to administer prescribed medication that has been specifically issued to your child by a healthcare professional. All medication must be clearly labelled and in date.

What if my child needs an EpiPen?

If your child requires an EpiPen while attending camp, to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone, we will request that you demonstrate how to use the EpiPen to our Camp Manager, your child’s group coach, and our qualified first-aider on the first morning of camp. This ensures that both you and our staff are fully confident in managing the EpiPen in case of an emergency. Please remember that all prescribed medication must be in date.
